As a native New Yorker, to be on the production staff for Macy’s Studios and help put on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was a dream come true. In my role, I was responsible for overseeing the parade’s launch site on 77th street, pacing the floats for the broadcast, and working with NYC agencies to ensure a safe load-in and load-out of the parade. Two back-to-back all nighters? No problem, at least if it’s to help facilitate joy to American families on this special holiday.
